Sharon Parrish

Sharon Parrish, age 73 of Purley, passed away, Saturday, January 4, 2020 in Sulphur Springs, TX, surrounded by loved ones.  She was born September 28, 1946 to Joe Lee and Murrel Dean Newbill Harpold.  Sharon married Ronnie Parrish on April 27, 1963 in Dallas, TX. She was a retired sales associate for Dillard’s and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother, Joe D. Harpold.

She is survived by sons, Ronnie W and wife, Juanita Parrish of Nevada, TX, and David and wife, Stephanie Parrish of Lewisville, TX. Two grandchildren, Christi and husband, Brandon Ainsworth of Plano, TX and Tyler Parrish of Nevada, TX. One great grandchild, JB Ainsworth of Plano, TX.  One sister, Sheri and husband Lupe Herrera of Purley, TX. One sister-in-law, Nina Harpold of Mt. Vernon, TX.  Nieces, Michelle Fuquay of McKinney, TX, Vanessa Bryant and Diana Harpold of Mt. Vernon, TX and nephew, Christopher Harpold of Mt. Vernon, TX. 

Graveside service is scheduled for 11:30 AM Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at the Mt. Vernon City Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, TX.
