Obituary
Teresa Branch McCombs, age 65, of Dallas, TX, passed away on August 26, 2023, after a very long battle with cancer. She grew up in the Greenwood community and was very active in the Greenwood Baptist Church. She was a 1976 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School.
Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Thurl “Red” Branch, her mother Bobbye Brewer Branch, and her brother John Mark Branch of Mt. Vernon. She is survived by her sister Stephanie Branch of Mt. Pleasant, her brother Dr. Stephan M. Branch, and her nephew Sebastian M. Branch both of Manhattan, New York.
The immediate family will have a private remembrance ceremony and celebration of Teresa’s life in Santa Barbara, California. Throughout the years, Teresa vacationed in Santa Barbara and often commented that it was her favorite place in the world and where she found peace.
