Terry Ray Majors

Terry Ray Majors, age 84, of Tyler, Texas, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at his residence.

Terry was born on November 2, 1941, in Dallas, Texas, to Walter A. and Ida Belle Wilson Majors.

He married Laura Gross on December 31, 1973, in Harris, Texas.

Terry retired from the Chemical Industry and then became involved in an Independent Missions Group in Mexico for several years.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 11:00 am. at Stout’s Creek Cemetery with Pastor Brian Williams officiating.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Laura; son, Larry Majors; brothers, Steve (Debbie) Majors and Don (Gloria) Majors; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James Major.
