Thomas Stevon Wilhite

Thomas Stevon Wilhite, age 75, of Scroggins, Texas, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2026, in Winnsboro, Texas.

Steve was born on September 22, 1950, to Jerrel Dean and Bobbie Nell (Williams) Wilhite in Dallas, Texas.

He married Esther Ruth Robinson in 1969, building 57 years of memories. Steve was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose unconditional love for his family, left a lasting impact on everyone. His steady presence and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and he will be remembered always.

Steve dedicated more than 40 years of his life to serving others, as a real estate agent, helping countless families find a place to call home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerrel and Bobbie Wilhite; brother, Jerry Don Wilhite.

Steve is survived by his wife, Esther; his children and their spouses, Christopher (Julie) Wilhite, Amy (Ron) Irby, and Jonathan (MaRanda) Wilhite; grandchildren, Payton Wilhite, Grace Wilhite, Dalton ( Skyler) Irby, Dalon Irby, Addison Irby, Nathan Wilhite, and Brody Wilhite; brother, Glenn (Dana) Wilhite; sister-in-law, Kathy Wilhite; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 1:00 pm and the Funeral Service following at 2:00 pm at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home with Pastor Pepper Puryear officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Vernon City Cemetery.
