Tonia Leiann Hinsley

Tonia Leiann Hinsley, age 53, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. with Don Shovan officiating.

Tonia was born on August 13, 1970, in Berlin, Germany to Larry Dale and Nelda Jo (Burns) Hinsley. She won the highest award in Girl’s Scouts with the Gold Award and was president of the youth softball and basketball leagues in Mount Vernon, Texas. Tonia was involved with the American Cancer Society and the Crime Board in Bogata. She also enjoyed scuba diving.

Survivors include her daughter, Lauren Epps and Brandon Maroney; son, Dalton Epps and Katon Trantham; parents, Larry and Jo Hinsley; sister, Kathy and Shad Kipfer; 4 granddaughters and 2 grandsons; 1 great granddaughter; nephew, Mark Kipfer and numerous cousins and extended family and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Breast Cancer Association or to Chambers Hospice in Tonia's name.
