Vickie Jean Palmer

Vickie Jean Erwin Palmer, age 82, of Mount Vernon, Texas passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in Sulphur Springs, Texas.

A graveside service will be on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Liberty Cemetery.

Vickie was born on August 21, 1941, in Sweetwater, Texas to Thadeus Jeff and Dixie (Durden) Erwin.  She married Garland Palmer on December 21, 1962, in Odessa, Texas. Vickie worked as a beautician and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Garland Palmer of Mount Vernon; son, Shawn Palmer of Linden, Texas; daughter, Robin Palmer-Clemmons and husband Kyle of Talco, Texas; and son, Ryan Cole Palmer of Dallas, Texas. Grandchildren, Erik Palmer of Denton, TX, Garrett Palmer of Houston, TX, Leeanna Michael of Peabody, MA, and Thomas Palmer of Everton, MO. One great grandchild, Maddie Palmer, and extended family.
