Obituary

Wanda Wyneda Banks Carr, 79 of Hagansport, Texas passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 in Tyler, Texas.

Wyneda was born in Franklin County, Texas July 19, 1942 to William Petteway Banks and Uinta Aytchia Tittle Banks. She was the youngest of nine children. She was a 1960 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. She was a waitress and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

She married Buck Carr in Franklin County, Texas November 11, 2011.

Wyneda is survived by her husband of 10 years, Buck Carr. Two sons; Daniel (Jamie) Carr of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Adam Carr of Pittsburg, Texas. Grandchildren; Noah Carr, Caleb Carr, Cassidy Carr and Mikala Carr and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Uinta Banks, sisters; Betty Glynn Green, Billie Pat Stephenson, and Nelva Joy Banks, brothers; Charles Banks, Harry Lee Banks, Jerry Banks, Wayne Banks, and David Banks.
