Wendi Gayle Turrell

Come and go visitation for Wendi Turrell will be Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.  Graveside service will be Monday, May 4, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery in Paris, Texas.

Wendi Gayle Turrell, age 27, of Paris, Texas left this world too soon on April 30, 2020. 

Wendi was born on July 7, 1992 in Wylie, Texas to Rhonda Blackstock Waggener and Marion (Marty) Lewis Turrell, Jr.  She made her entrance in this world surprising everyone by being a girl. Wendi was well known for having a big heart and a contagious smile.  Wendi loved her nieces and loved to spoil them rotten. Wendi jumped right in when her aunt needed help and took shifts as a caregiver.  She made friends where ever she went.  She had a country twang when she spoke.  She made a one syllable word into a 5-syllable word.  

Wendi is preceded in death by her father, Marty; grandparents, Don and Dolores Blackstock, aunt, Bernell Slaton.

She is survived by her sister and best friend, Savannah and husband Sam Peralta of Paris, TX; nieces, Bella, Aubree, Emersyn; mother and step-dad, Rhonda and Kenneth Waggener of Reno, TX; her fiancé, Henry Adlean of Paris, TX; cousins that are like siblings, D.J. Davidson, Kayla Davidson, Zane Delgadillo, Grace Vella; aunts, Karen, Denise, Jill, Donna, Pam, Angie, and Dee Dee and a host of other cousins and friends that loved her.
