William Zack Glover, age 82, of Onalaska, Texas passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.
Visitation will be on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 10:00-12:00 at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home and the funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 noon. Rev. David Taylor and Rev. Don Smith will be officiating. Pallbearers will be John Riley, DJ McCain, Jimmy Laughton, Harold Riley, Shane Seymour, and Tyler Glover. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Mosley, Lindsey Glover and Joe Glover. Interment will be at the Mount Vernon City Cemetery.
Zack was born on August 17, 1940 to John Joseph and Laura Didamie (Rogers) Glover in Mount Vernon, Texas. He married Fern Delome on October 7, 1977 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He retired from TXU and they recently moved to Onalaska.
Zack loved spending time with his family, being out on the lake, and he always had a project going. He was a member of the Macon Cemetery Board having served several positions through the years. Zack loved reading and was a history buff. His favorite Bible verse was Matthew 22:35-40.
He was preceded in death by his parents; John Joseph and Laura Didamie Glover; sisters, Judy Deal and Barbara Hume.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Fern Glover; his four sons, Lin Glover and Susan, Les Glover and Vicki, John Riley and Susan, and Harold Riley; two daughters, Patti Newman and Ron, Briana and Shane Seymour; two sisters, Minnie Birdsong and Janet Stanley; one brother, Joe Glover.
