Bill Mills
William Lavon Mills born in 1939 in Mt. Vernon, Texas (where he spent his childhood life) passed away peacefully at the Landmark Nursing Home in Plano on September 24th, 2020. He resided in Ft. Worth Texas where he was a barber for his entire adult life.
He had donated his body to science hoping to help others learn about life.
He married twice in his life, first to Doris Mills and then to Connie Mills.
He is survived by two children Rubin Mills and Brenda Mills and three step children: Janice Cox, Amber Tran, and Vince Weoprasert.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cullen and Ruth Mills and three siblings: Donald Royce Mills, Barbara Vashti Hicks, and Neva Lou Grieves.
His surviving siblings are Shirley Boulter Davis, Mary Ruth Mills, and Katherine Ann Moore.
His memorial service will be Saturday, October 3rd. at the Ted Dickey West Funeral Home located at 8011 Frankford Rd. in Dallas. The service will begin at 2:00 PM.
Guests will be invited to attend a reception immediately following the service at the home of one of his sisters in Plano. The services will be broadcast live on Facebook.
