William "Michael" Ross

William “Michael” Ross, age 65, of Gholson, Texas, in McLennan County passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Waco, Texas. The family is planning a memorial service to be held at a later date with interment to be at the Farmers Academy Cemetery in Titus County. Michael was born to William Ross and Deanna Hutchings on May 20, 1955 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Lummus, his parents, two sisters and one nephew.

Those left to cherish his memory include a sister, Sandra Ross of Tyler, a stepdaughter, Kim Joiner and husband Johnny, a step granddaughter, Amanda Joiner, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He will also be remembered by the owners and regulars at the Gholson Store, which was like his second home, the community of Gholson and his many precious friends which he loved dearly. 

Michael Ross was a proud veteran of the United States Army.
