Wilton Joseph Richard II, age 58, of Mt. Vernon, Texas passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 at his home.
Wilton was born in Greenville, Mississippi to Patrick and Carolyn (Sherman) Richard on May 22, 1963. He married Becky Bishop on September 18, 1989 in Texarkana, Arkansas. He was a Forklift operator and worked for K & B Steel company. Wilton loved to hunt, fish and share his love of the outdoors with othes.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Becky Richard of Mt. Vernon, Texas; sons, Cody Richard and wife Alaina of McKinney, Texas, Chris Sams and wife, Robin of Harrington, Delaware; daughter, Christina Brown and husband, Nathan of Mt. Vernon, Texas; grandchildren, Alex, Piper, Tara Tucker; sisters, Trish Kuhl and husband, Joe of Severance, Colorado, Lisa Wilhite and husband, Mark of Amarillo, Texas; niece, Maria Sharp and husband, Anthony; nephew, Sam Wilhite and niece, Hannah Knoblett and husband, Nathan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick L. Richard and Carolyn S. Labella.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the New Life United Pentecostal Church and a Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 2:00.
