Wynelle "Wendy" (Bennett) Anderson

Wynelle “Wendy” Bennett Anderson, age 88 of Saltillo, Texas, passed away on Monday morning, June 23, 2025, in Paris, Texas.

Wendy was born October 24, 1936, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to William Coy and Floy (Wagner) Bennett.

Wendy married Stanford Edwin Anderson on May 28, 1966, in Dane, Wisconsin.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Stan Anderson, and her parents, Coy and Floy Bennett.

She was a member of the Dike Eastern Star, Saltillo Baptist Church, Hopkins County Genealogical Society, and Stout’s Creek Cemetery Association.

Wendy had operated Wendy’s Convenience Store at the Saltillo exit on Interstate 30 for many years.

She is survived by her son, Michael and Billie Anderson; grand-daughters, Jacie Anderson and Mylee Anderson; her brother, Jerry Tom Bennett; sister-in-law, Kathy Anderson; nephews, Bryan Bennett and Sloan Bennett; nieces, Kelly Thomas, Jocelyn Rawat and Jill Brooks.

Visitation for Wendy will be on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 6pm to 8 pm at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Stout’s Creek Cemetery on July 1, 2025, at 10 am.
